Agave Nectar

Agave Nectar a healthy, all natural sweetener made from the Agave plant can give you health benefits you won't want to miss out on.   

Agave Nectar, extracted from the Agave plant is all natural and may have many positive health benefits.

Some of the  benefits in choosing Agave nectar over other sweeteners are:

-All natural, no additives
-Low glycemic index (causing a slower rise in blood sugar and insulin)
-Contains inulin (a prebiotic which promotes intestinal health)

Agave Nectar can be used wherever sugar is used.  It is also 1.4 times sweeter then other sugars, so you  use less.

For conversions in recipes
-use 2/3 cups Agave Nectar per 1 cup sugar.
-reduce oven temperature 25 degrees
-increase cooking time 6% (for every 1 hour cook for 1 hour and 3.6 minutes.
